Hey you got some nice seats? are they new? very clean. Anyways, pop off the center conscole and you will see screws there you have to unbolt, and then remove the guage cluster a bit too....nevermind its a PITA.....

Hey you live in Corona? I go to Temecula sometimes, you should look up Saintdog, he lives there, you two are the only FDs that I know that live in BFE.

If you are not removing the center console where all the a/c ***** are you can just go ahead and pull the complete center console. Pull a little bit hard and it will come of. I recommend you to put a towel on top of the center piece behind the steering wheel to avoid any scratches to the hood. Once the hood is pupped of just go ahead and disconnect the wires from behind the cluster. There is one connector to the ligher and a small light. Then remove the upper connector of the cruise control, then remove the remaining 4 plugs/ connectors that control the cluster and finally you remove the connector that plugs to/behind the lightswith (controls the pupp up lights. It's a bitch when you do it at first but you get used to it. I usually do mine (take off and put back on) in 10 min and is because I have to remove my monster tach, 2 gauge pillar and the steering column which also holds a guage. You should be able to do yours in less time since you do not have as many obstacles as I do!

Good luck and let me know the outcome.

Pierre

Yes, if you want to get the panel out with the A/C controls, you need to remove gauge cluster. That will give you access to the two screws that are holding it down.

The A/C panel is held down by two screws at the bottom, and two screws just under where it meets the gauge cluster.
