Hooking Zune up to car stereo w/ head unit control...

So I know they make a JVC IPod controller that allows you to plug in an IPod to any compatible JVC headunit...

Is there anything like this for the Zune? Is there any sort of adapter out there that would allow for plugging in a Zune to an IPod accesory?

I know the IPod is more popular... so most everything is geared towards that... but I think the Zune is by far the better unit... so I'd prefer to get one over an IPod.

I know I can get an FM transmittor... or hook it up thru the Aux Input... or hardwire it into the antenna line... but I want to get headunit controls for the Zune... plus I don't want a lot of exposed wiring...

Any advice?

I know my friend is planning on doing something similar to this so I'll talk to him and get back to you if you haven't gotten any explanations.

If your Zune unit comes with a USB 2.0 connection port, then plan on checking out the latest offering from Alpine. Their IDA-X001 is pretty tight when it comes to controlling the mp3 particulars from the actual head unit. I recently had one installed, and absolutely love it! But again, make sure the Zune is compatible by test driving one at your local Best Buy or similar.

Here is a consumer writeup on the unit:

Hope this helps!
