Hookin up aftermarked head unit with bose speakers

Just installed a JVC head unit model # KD-AVX33
everything works....but the speakers......i got no sound
dvds will have video but no sound
cds will play.....but no sound....
i bought a harness for the headunit to adapt the the fd wiring and everything is hooked up........all the wires were color coded the same
the deck has a bunch of other fancy **** that i am not interested in using so i did not hook it up....figured this should not matter.......

is there somthing special about the bose system i need to do 2 get sound?

You need to run power to the wire that turns on the Bose amps. Do a search for it and you'll find that it's a green (IIRC) wire.
