i just installed a BMW HID sys in my second GEN, i upgraded the headlights to projector headlights.

one side of the car is perfect i turn the lights on and the HID ballast goes to work and lights up the light.

but the other side when i turn the lights on i can hear the ballast going on and off and the bulb lights on and off, kinda like a strobe light.

what can be the problem? the ballast the Bulb? i chekec all wires. also i tried that side head light on my wokrkin ballast and lights and its good.

Switch the ballasts, see if the problem continues. If it doesn't, then you need a new ballast. If it does, you need a new bulb. Easy enough.

 

sounds like a ballast. Btw how did you do the swap initially?!

 

i got new projector headlights, and a BMW HID sys .
wtb i got like 3 more ballasts at work so im going to swap one of them or sumthing.

but im pretty sure its the ballast.

Have you turned them on with the car running? Aside from having a ballast problem, that problem can happen if the system isn't getting enough power ... one can act completely normally and the other act like a strobe.
