HID Questions

Hello every one i have a 89 fc and i have high and low beam hids (6k) and i was wondering if i have to modify anything to make these work. thoes any one else have hids on thier fc? And if you do, do you have any ploblems with them?

generally h4 hidkits suck ***, they light upp better, but they blind the **** out of everybody:S
you would be better of retrofitting a projector unit into your stock light.

so be prepared for everyone flashing their highbeams at you (when trucks do it, its no fun)

i have the pilot housing kit that im using it has a cover over the head light. like this but i was having problems with them i would put them on and used them for about 4 mins and then the would turn off and then i try using them again and they would not turn on. could this be a head lamp switch issue or has someone else had this problem with hids?
