HELP! Stock Bose System making noises !

I know the system is rather old, but the bose audio sound system in the trunk is making a weird noise. It's actually just the speaker behind me, the one behind the passenger is fine. Any of you guys have had that problem?

I had the same problem with my Bose amps. I had one repaired by Car Stereo Help and I bought one from a member of the forum. 99% of the time it's the amp that goes bad. Check the speaker for any damage, first. Look on the F/S section for a new one. LMK if you need more help.

Yah, the bose wave sound system definitely don't last through the ages. The pillar behind the driver seat, is that a speaker or an amp? I just bought the car last week so I'm not too sure about it. Thanks!

If I just replace the speaker/amp behind the driver seat. Should that fix it?

Disconnect it to find out if the problem still persists. Also inspect the speaker to see if it's damaged prior to order a new amp.
