Exclamation Help my radio is dead, 1985 gsl-se! antenna?

so everything was fine until two things happened. One day my antennae broke off on the highway, and so i lost radio. than where my rear view mirror is got broken, and now I can not use the tape player or anything. The head unit turns on, but does not stop at any station when I do seek, and the tape player doesnt come through now either. Where can I get a replacement antennae or head unit that will work with my car? Or am I better off just taking it to a car audio shop? Thanks for any help

I just picked up an powered, internal, amplified antenna at Advance Auto for $20 and stuck it to glass in the hatch. Works great.

1) You can still get a replacement OEM antenna from Mazda. I got one for my '84 maybe 4 months ago. It wasn't that expensive.

2) For the headunit, if you wanna stick w/ the stock headunit (I'm really **** about keeping my FB 100% bone stock and original), you can send out the headunit to get restored to factory specs. It runs about $175 with a warranty (6 months or so). Well worth the money IMO. But careful, b/c VERY few shops are experienced enough to work on OEM headunits. And some specialize in the Mazda headunits (among others).

3) Svs, I'm glad your internal antenna works, but mine (in my FD) doesn't work worth CRAP. I got mine from Tweeter, and it's installed on the front windshield.
