Help with my lack of bose system

My car had bose at one time, and then the person who bought the car prior removed everything bose except for the top speaker on the dash.

My question is, I go to put in my stereo and I get no music from that top speaker, Its doing the "beeps" but no sound is coming out so what gives?

Is there an amp or something odd that's supposed to go to the system still even after you've plugged in an aftermarket head unit?

Any help would be appreciated.

Each bose speaker has it's own individual amp because the bose stereo is passive. Not only that, the bose speakers are 1 ohm. There are kits that some aftermarket companies sell that makes bose speakers compatible with a regular stereo. But is it worth it for just one measly center channel speaker?

IMO opinion rip it out and install an aftermarket midrange there.

The Bose center speaker is not 1 ohm, but a 8 ohm speaker. Yes the main 4 are 1 ohm each driven by an integral 50 W amp.

Standard center speaker 3.2 in dia 4 ohm 15 W amp
Bose center speaker 2.5 in dia 8 ohm 25 W amp

You can leave the center channel in place with aftermarket systems, just wire into turn on relay and front speaker wires

welp that's just it I don't know what wires to take apart on the doors after pulling the old bose amp (as I really don't think it's working anyways...) but if anyone could point me in the right direction as to what color wires mean what (blue striped is the right speaker negative wire, etc.) I'd GREATLY appreciate it as my car has zero stereo system in it at this time except for my aftermarket deck and center speaker which is blown (lol).
