HELP Bucket lights not on!!!
Yea Like my car won't start (hahahah)
Story is I took my car to T.H. Mazda in Martinez CA. (for you local guys)and after they installed a couple of AF meters, a number of weeks later I found that my bucket lights wern't working.
I know that for some of you, your first response will be "take it back". I am convinced that these guys can not troubleshoot their own work.
So I'm looking for assistance on the da*m bucket lights. I would like some help because this care is so near perfect it pains me to see something like this.
I looked in the workshop manual and no reference to the bucket lights. I checked and tested the fuses and they all work.
Maybe -- I'm hoping that one of you rotor heads have had the carpets up and might know where to look for connectors etc. NOTE: the light in each of the buckets don't work.
Thanks!

are you talking about the storage bins?
if you are, then lift up the lid and remove the screws around the bottom part of the bin and the two at the back on the inside of the bin. you should now be able to lift the bin up and out of the fiberglass shell.
if you're too lazy (like me) and don't feel like removing both bins then i would suggest removing the driver side bin. from underneath you can reach the wires for the other bin.
now, with the driver side bin removed. check the connections on the bin.
two wires at the back corner of the bin for the switch and the plug contaning the bulb at the front.
also make sure the bulb itself isn't dead.
if you look in the hole where the driver side bin was you'll see the plug for the wiring harness. it's close to the driver side door, make sure that it's also secure.
and if that doesn't work, then you'll have to trace the wire to the driver side kick panel and check for continuity there.
good luck!
