Headunit wiring ?

ok so i know this isn't for an rx but it is audio and i think i will get much more help here than gen auto sect.

heres the problem.

on my dd/beater a 97 chrysler cirrus (same as a dodge stratus and plymouth breeze) whenever i use power for anything in the dash, say i put my turn signals on or turn the dome light on, my stereo loses ALOT of its sound producing power.

it is NOT the headunit or my wiring job, i have installed many decks, and this is also the second deck i put into the car, both with the same problem. the stock unit does NOT have this problem, but it is out of the question for me to put it back in bc its a pos and im going to get an amp soon for new 6x9's.

i talked to a guy at advanced auto parts and he says he has heard of this problem many times, but has no idea how to fix it, he did however say that it is probably because most things in the dash are run by the same 12v wire.

my friend suggested that i put in a bigger fuse to allow for more power to flow. and ik this is easy to do but its late and i haven't tried it yet.

any ideas?

A bigger fuse seems like a good way to blow something. I'd look for another 12v source SOMEWHERE and tap that for headunit power.
