The headrest speakers in my 1991 Convertible are not working. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong with them> I trun them on and nothing comes out of them at al.
My shop manual (89 convertible) is at the audio shop with my car right now. I'm going over there today to check on progress and will check what the shop manual says is a probable cause. Sounds to me that, off the top of my head, it is a problem either with 1) the switch, 2) the amplifier, or 3) the wiring between the head unit, switch, and amplifier.
I'll let you know what the manual says later.

Havent ever replaced any speakers in the headrest of an RX-7 ? Are they like the miata , do the headrest unzip? r is there more involved there?
If they unzip just take a 9V bat and pop the leads. If they pop there good... Or at least they work that is

do the non-convertible FCs have speakers in the headrest. Or just the verts? And how are the vert seats compared to GXL seats?

Simular seats, just heavy because of re-enforcments needed for the vert.
