Question Head units - compatibility with older multi-CD player

I have a 6-disc Pioneer changer in my 7 that I've had for about 5 years. It's an awesome unit and I've always been happy with it.

The head unit, however, is falling apart. I want to buy a new one, obviously, but I want the new head unit to be compatible with the old changer.

I have little faith in the usual raffle that work in car audio sales at box stores, so I turn to you guys.

I'm all Pioneer throughout the car, except for the amp running my subs. I'd like to stick with Pioneer.

The changer model is: CDX-P650

Would someone explain to me how to go about finding out if current models will plug right in to the changer? Or does someone already know if they do?

Just fired off an email to Pioneer customer support. Yes, I should have done that first. What can I say - the forum makes ya lazy.
