hand brake removal

Hey guys, I have a hand brake boot that I ordered from Redline (great looking I might add) and I'm trying to remove the brake handle so that I can get the boot over it. Is there a catch on it to slide it off?

i didnt have to take the ebrake off. i think it folds over it inside out then you tie it to it and flip it back over.
