guages

Any pics of 2-pod a-pillar gauges? all i can find are 52mm, people are trying to tell me that they are too big and annoying, my bro mentioned 35mm or something, but i haven't ever seen anything like that....he's got a VDO boost guage in his S4 (a-pillar), 1.something inches....

basically i'm just looking for guages smaller than 52mm, in an FD please, and if possible a-pillar mounted

i have the autometer dual pod mount. 52 mm is fine for me (not too big, not too small), but if you smoke, sometimes when you hold the cigg with your left hand, it will burn the top most pod holder.

I used to smoke, and have the greyed areas on the pod to prove it

yeah i smoke but i'm not going to smoke in the 7. do you have any pics cause i was planning on getting the dual pod a-pillar (with boost and prolly a/f)?

edit:oh yeah, i can't think of who makes it or what it's called, but it's a two pod dash piece that replaces the stock dash piece that goes over the gauge cluster, like a pod at 10 o'clock and one at 2 o'clock

Border Sports, its sold at www.rotaryextreme.com

I dont have any pix at the moment, bc i dont have a digital camera, but i can always call my friend and have him swing by with one. The A/F meter from any company is basically just a bunch of colors flying back and fourth, and their just used as a "general" guideline. Personally, i have boost and volt meters, but plan on switching out the voltmeter for a temp gauge.

I'll post pix of my setup this friday at the next meeting when i have acess to a digi-cam.
