which type of mazdaspeed bumper. There are quite a few. I can tell you right now though that the A-SPEC Type II first generation bumper has the most clearance.

 

If your talking about the GTC bumper, it is just a tiny bit lower than the stock bumper with a 99' spec lip, if any lower at all. I couldn't really tell much a difference. That lip was pretty low though, and I'm on stock suspension with 18's. I think as long as you be careful where you drive, and have a nice driveway entrance you'll be fine.
