First shot is of the box internals the second is where it fits in the car and the third fourth and fifth are completed box before installation (didnt have a second guy to help put it in) With the speakers JL audio 12w7 it weighs in at 140 pounds. Yes it weighs as much as a dead hooker. It would appear that my lens is dirty that is what is causing the spots.

Are those interior spaces seperated? Also, what is the interior volume, minus the speaker volume? 2 W7?!?!?! Damn, thats going to be loud.

interior volume is 3.75 cubic feet after the speaker displacement and subtracting for port and steel cross bracing. It is shared space but that is what JL reccomended for this application. I was on the phone for an hour with JL designing the port and volume. The box was designed origionally for 2 12" Image Dynamics max series but I decided to take the leap into JL.

I have extra glass just in case.

It is tinted so hopefully not too many pieces. I just want to hit 148 db. anything over that is a bonus.

I know adding weight is usually not helping you go faster but in this case I believe I will be able to put the power to the ground better with the extra weight.

If you keep at least one window down youll be ok. They only cracked when we took it to a competion and they put the meter in the cab, windows up, and turned it up.

The space is alot more inclosed also than what you are working with. We had then in the back of a 99 S-10 extended cab. Not in the bed, or in a box connected to the cab, but in the cab. Im looking for pics right now but I cant seem o find any, commp crashed and I lost everything, thought for sure I had it on a back up though.

Yeah I have 2003 extended cab S-10 running two 10" cerwin vegas and it is enough for the daily driver. But I was looking for more of a competition setup on this one.

Thanks 88rxn/a.
