ok well you all know that the honda del sol kinda looks like the rx7 just with no rear hatch .......... so i am getting ready to paint my car and i take the hatch off today and im like holy ******* **** its a del sol lol well so it got me thinking

has anyone every modded the rx7 so there is no hatch just a flat back with some sort of truck space??? i was thinking about making like a del sol look but having the truck actualy go into the back seat still yea know ??? and then putting a bunch of speakers or something back there

mind you my 7 is going to be a show car not a d/d

i was also thinking of putting a flip up kinda lid trunk with a 17" plasma screen on it

i ve seen the veilside supra have a hatch like that but no rx-7... it looked ok.

 

I have thought about it before but I'm not into TV's. If you want to do it to be different fine but there is no functional advantage. Heh, its funny though because now I see Del Sols and imagine what they'd look like with a hatch.
That kind of rear window setup went out in the 80's.... so you can do it if you have an S4 but leave the S5's alone lol
