I have finally decided to do it Can someone give me some tips on how to do it? I'm going to have a friend that has worked with FG help me. Like how to prep the body kit and car before adding FG? I'm only going to do the back bumper for now till I get my Rmagic fenders

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
it will crack over time...if the installer does a shitty job.
i personally think molded body kits look really nice...MUCH nicer than non-molded. but be ready to repain cracks once in a while.

I have talked to a few people and they said the best way is to attach the body kit on the best I can so it won't move and crack. Then from there just use filler with some flex agent to fill in the cracks. Then go back and fill it once more for looks and then do all the sanding and prep for the actual paint. I don't know if I want to glue it on since I am always changing my mind on stuff so I will most likely use some type of rubbery paste or something like that.
I would have one of my friends that owns a body shop do it for me or at least help me but he made it clear to me that he will not be a part of molding a fiberglass piece to a metal body. He says it "will" crack. I"m sure it will but I want at least a few years before it does. By the time it starts to crack I'll have a reason for a new color paint job

I heard somene a while back talking about vette bond or viper bond, or something like that. it is suppose to be like bondo but still remain flexible enough that it wouldn't crack as much or at all. i don't remember where to get it but i think it as pretty expensve. maybe someone who knows someone can find out

1 hard launch may be enough to twist the frame a little and crack the kits. I agree it looks cool, but on a daily driver your asking for trouble. If you don’t mind cracks or have a bottom less pocket go for it.
