Gauge pods for my rotary rocket

Is it just me or are the gauge pods available for my RX-7 just cheap and/or ugly???

Who else wants to find a good one and replace the junk out there?

ummmm, are you talking about the stock ones or the aftermarket pods? For after market pods there are plenty of nice pods out there... Border makes some "mouse ear" pods that go above the gauge cluster. RE Amemiya makes one that mounts on the Steering column, and another company makes pods that go into the 5th channel speaker spot. If those don't appeal to you, you can always do a custom job... ex. Relocate your AC controls and mount 2 gauges where the buttons were, or you can get a Saab (i think) gauge holder that fits in the din spot on your radio which can hold 3 gauges. I think you will find something that will appeal to your taste. There is one more pod that I just thought of that replaces your passenger air bag cover and holds 3 gauges also. You have plenty to choose from. I personally like most of them. The A-pillar is just too easy of a place to mount stuff

I was referring to my advertisement of the attached web address, where I sell the gauge pod. I aimed the remark to myself, nobody else. Make sense?

Homie: Frank's pods are the ****. Mine looks good (would look even better if I had the smooth 93-style dash) and fits good. The center-channel gauge pod also puts the gauges right in your line of sight, they are very easy and quick to look at there. And also importantly, the center-channel pod does not require permanent damage to your interior.

Way to go Frank!

What's up Frank?

Those pods are freakin sweet!! I FINALLY got mine installed about a week ago. Damn if they don't look like they belong there. I dumped in Defi D-Gauges to keep the stock look. They hit the money head on. I'll post pics real soon. Awesome product!

The one shown in the above photo is pt# LH52TP (Left Hand, 52mm, Tri-Pod-or Three Pod) and is in stock.
Price is $119.95 + $8 for s/h.
Shipping is best by USPS Priority and would get to you in (2) days, even Saturdays.
I take paypal at: Flyrx7@aol.com
You can also buy them from Rx7store.net within a couple weeks (at least last I heard)

Regards,
Frank

Here is a picture of my install, it has pictures of the center pod, steering column pod and some of the wireing. There are a few other pictures in there that you could check out as well.
