Garagestar fd seat rails

Bought some Garagestar seat rails to try out with my Bride Exas III seats and thought I'd post a comparison with the Bride FG rails I have.

The rails are semi adjustable. You have to use a wrench to loosen the nuts on the side to move the seat back or forth. Not as convenient as the Bride rails but I don't really ever slide my seat around when I had them on the FG rails.

Next to a Bride FG rail I had. The mounting holes for the seat are a good deal lower though. If I mount the seat on the lowest hole on the Garagestar the front of the seat touches the floor in the front.

Seems like a nicely priced alternative to Bride rails if you need something that'll give you more headroom.

Coming from clubroadster.net, I can say garagestar makes quality products. When I purchase my autox seat, these will be had.

Can you get the seat all the way on the floor with them?

theres still some space on the bottom at the lowest bolt hole. I'll try taking a picture tomorrow when i'm working on the car.

Also I tried these rails on some Sparco Evo seats I had and they didnt work. The Sparcos are too wide so the rail hits the trans tunnel in the front. Could probably modify it easily though by just bending the one leg a little like how the miata version of the rail is.

Bride Vios III seat fit fine with the them too. I didnt have my door panels on at the time I tried it with these though so I'm not sure on if the seat would touch the door or not.

No worries... I've got Sparco EVOs and my custom fixed rail has the seat all the way on the carpet anyway, I was just wondering how close this came, as it would be nice to be able to play with it.

ok so i finally got around to comparing these a little more.

Bride FG on left (lowest bolt holes), Garage Star on right (lowest on back and one from bottom front)

With the Bride rail on the lowest mounting holes the seat is noticeably more reclined.
