Front Speaker recommendations (FC)????

Ok,..Dudes..Dude-ettes!.!
I got my Start Trek Stereo..lol!..it is a combination Navigation/Cappaccino machine!

I would like recommendations/advice what Brand speakers to run in the Doors of the S5.What are you running and how do they sound.

maximum size that will fit?(electric windows)

I am doing this system up a little "blingie" so I am leaning towards FOCAL speakers,or something similar.

Anyone have the door speaker as a mid range and a tweeter in the Stock dash area?
That would be running the separate component type speakers.

Thanks Lads.Ladies..and Stereo freaks!

UPDATE: I put a set of Focal PS165 V30 in the doors of the S5 and a set of CDT CL42's in the dash..

all I can say is:HOLY FRAKKK!..

This is in conjunction with FOUR Cadence 6X9 Competition speakers in the Rear Cubby Bin lids!(2 per lid!)

I had to trim the metal inside the door a touch(nothing major) and hole sawed the panel for a separate tweeter.
On the dash the 4 Inch speaker set right in and the dash was again hole sawed on each side of the center console to put in tweeters.
Each set of speakers has it's own crossover box,so they are set in pairs under the dash.

I'll eventually update again when I get the camera out to show how they are installed.
Not bad for a "trailer Park install"..lol!(Bubbles says it looks great!)

Would love to see as many pictures as you have. I'm definitely doing the stereo in mine shortly. I sell for CDT so it will likely be their 6.5s in the front and then 2-4 6x9s behind the seats(vert). Can you actually hear the dash speakers? They fire right into the knees.. I feel like 6.5s will be sufficient.

I sort of over did the front system as you will never have the system at full volume.
You'd get a headache.
If I did an install again I'd go with either setup..the dash or the doors.
I went with Focal for the name and quality.
The CDT's because of the power rating of a 4 inch speaker.

The pain of this setup is the wiring of separate cross overs and having to run 4 wires to the door.I'm persistent though and snaked the speaker wire through the rubber "snorkel".

The rear setup is also overkill. It adds FIFTY pounds across the rear of the car.

BUT..hey..if you can't hear the BRAPP,guys will hear "Smoke on the Water"...a quarter mile away..before they see a car!

that would be quite accurate if you blew a coolant seal/oil seal and kept on driving
