Front bumper 88 TII
My neighbor backed up and hit my car. The bumper is wrecked and the hood is dented. IDIOTS!!! The hood can be bent back and fixed though.
Anyway, how much is a replacement for the front bumper on an 88 TII?
Is this comparative to more aggressive looking body kits?

The front bumper cover, new is $653.89. Give or take a few dollars at your dealership and the kind of discount relationship you have with them. More importantly though is the reinforcement bar behind the bumper since that can be broken also, depending on how hard the hit was. That is $592.52 new. Then you might also need the absorber or styrofoam behind the cover which is $70 new, each 2 needed.
All that to say, have his insurance cover it. If no insurance, go to a junkyard to get these pieces a lot cheaper. Usually in the yard, you can get the cover for about $25.00 and the reinforcement bar behind it for about $40. Those are local picknpull prices here. Everything is fairly straightforward to remove.
Remember someone is going to have to spring for painting everything as well as matching the paint. good luck.

I had to replace my rear bumper cover and for $50 I got the reenforcment and the styrofoam pieces and the bumper cover. So..... defiantly get his insurance to cut you a check then you fix it yourself.
