Which front bumper?

Hello,
I want to change my front bumper but I can't decide. I like the Mazdaspeed and the 99 spec.
I have attached some pictures: the black one is my old 95 that I sold, the silver one is my new one. I do not want to put a whole body kit on since the car only has 12,000 miles on it and does not need a paint job. Plus, I like the lines of the stock rx7 better than the ones with body kits. Also, I would like to get the scoot hood but I am not sure it goes very nice with the Mazdaspeed bumper.

One more thing, do you think I should polish or powder coat the engine parts?

Help...

Thanks

I would personally go 99-spec, if all you want is a front end. The GT-C makes the FD look weird w/o something on the sides lessen the gap.
Although, the 99-spec is a lot more expensive than a GTC replica. You will have to end up painting both, I believe; the 99-spec gray is slightly diff than SSM.
Just my opinion.

Just so you know there is a group buy going on over at nopistons for a REPLICA 99 spec front bumper with out the license holder made out POLYURETHANE (not fiberglass) for $425 since there are 30+ buyers.

Rotary extreme is making the bumper. The group buy is coming to close but I think Chuck is still letting people in. $150 deposits guarantees a spot. The rest is due when the bumper is ready.

Chuck is also having other group buys that include REPLICA 99 spec turn signals, 99 spec oil cooler ducts (the original ducts will not work with the 99 bumper), and 99 lip. Kinda like a 99 conversion kit GB. The best part is that everything can be shipped to you in one bulk shipment so you save $$$ on shipping.

If you were seriously thinking of going 99 spec this is your chance.

I agree that the 99 spec will look much better than the GTC as far as not getting sideskirts to go with it. Those wheels are beautiful. Nice work.

I was debating about the same thing when I was going to change my bumper. Looking back on it, I wish I got the '99 spec bumper instead of the GT-C. I constantly worry about driving around and cracking it (again). Besides, if you don't like the '99 bumper, I would imagine that it'll be easier to get rid of the bumper compared to a GT-C replica.
