fitting diff sized speakers in..
well i finally installed my full audiobahn speaker system in here.. you guys are going to love this.
first off, i managed 5.25" in the front, and in the back, i had no brackets. so i had to get creative.
bolted the 5.25 on the drivers side right into the dash. for the passenger side, it almost fit, but i had to use my trashy soldering iron to do some cutting. ended up removing the back half of the enclosure as well as opening up the actual hole. i was very unsatisfied with the results.
for the rear, i removed the stock strut tower enclosures completely. i used the soldering iron as a punch to remove the stock grille covers. turns out an audiobahn 6.5 in bracket drops right in there. used the same iron to join the plastic and blam i have a nice 6.5"midbass speaker with plenty of spare room.
can i punch a hole in the stock s4 door panels to mount the 5.25"'s more effectivly? ive heard that there is a place for them to go, but i havent been back there since i did my door panels.

I've fit 6.5" infinity speakers in the front and rear with no problem. Just used the spacers/brackets provided to move the front ones away from the window track and the rear ones from hitting the top of the speaker grills.
