So then I finally got my 99 spec front lip and now there's fitment issues......

First I take off the bolts and the factory tiny lip and then try to put on one side of the 99spec lip. To my surprise the holes didn't match up. The really side ends of the lip don't match up and it seems like I have to custom drill holes into my bumper itself to make the holes from the 99 lip to fit correctly.

Has anyone done this and any advice would help.

I thought there was just one hole on each side that needed to be drilled.

 

The corners will not match up , you need to pull the cars corners out to match the 99 part the best you can ,you can get it close ,and drill new holes on each side of the corners . Also a new hole at the end beside the wheel wells. You may need to buy several of the slide on clips with threaded holes on one side for the new bolts .
