I'd say do the exterior last because you may nick it or scratch it while working under the hood. Performance first IMO unless some jackass runs into you and you have to fix the body, then go ahead and put aftermarket body kits and such on it.

sounds about right- unless when your planning to get your car repainted, some guy with a ford f250 backs his tow hitch into your bumper (while you are parked)causing $1000.00 worth of of damage, then before you get it fixed you blow a coolant seal, and have to have the motor rebuilt, then winter comes, but before it's nice enough out to get the bumper replaced and the car repainted, the turbos start leaking oil, then they get replaced and you have to drive around with a hole in your bumper- all the while thinking to yourself "someday it'll all be fixed"
sorry for the rant
bill

Well.... I bought my FD about a month ago.

First thing I did was change the coolant and the oil. Maintence should never be overlooked.

First I fixed the mirrors and front bumper because the mirrors were faded, and the front bumper had chips and was also slightly faded.

Then I got some bolt-ons (power FC, DP, MP, catback, fuel pump, intake) that increase power and a few mods that dont add power (Aluminum AST and boost gauge)

About $3000 in all but well worth it

I wouldnt say mine is as bad, but mine has been through a lot too. If people would stop running into me I'd probably be almost ready to put a single turbo in there by now.

Amen. I think it's something about an FD that attracts other cars into your rear bumper. Well mine anyways.

Order - from spyfish007
1) Chassis and suspension
2) Engine
3) Exterior
4) Interior

OT-well if other people on the road learned how to drive the vehicle they purchased, utilize them for the intended purpose, stop buying them "for a better view of the road" and "i feel safer higher up" we wouldn't have these "attracting other vehicles into FD bumpers" problems anymore.

Three things keep people from my rear bumper quite effectively...

1) Fireballs
2) Gas Pedal + Tubo = Gone...
3) I don't slam on the brakes.... unless I'm at the track...
