what kind of clear? because I know it's hard to keep the satin look with any clear coat because of the gloss associated with the clear..

I can't really remember. From what my girlfriend told me she remembered him saying non glossy protectant clear coat. All I remember is I saw he got it from napa and it said acrylic on the container.

looks good, if i was in your position i would have just wrapped the car in a vinyl wrap for fear that the flat colors are just a fad and will wear tired on you in the future, but overall your car your choice and the job looks steller

thanks man. I believe the vinyl option would cost more than what I've paid for the paint job.

Paint looks good.

IMO satin black cars must be SLAMMED in order to look awsome. Otherwise they just look like primered cars in need of a paint job.

I wasn't being a critic as I could tell it was a work in progress. I was actually giving a heads up on what makes it killer. IMO of course

No I'm not offended man. What you said was the plan for the car for the time being. Now that I got an decent looking car its time to work on the engine.

Props on going with a satin black paint job. If I had 2 FDs, I would definitely paint one this color. Your car will look ridiculous lowered with a gloss black set of wheels and a black/red interior for some contrast.

for right now it will have a plateless 99 spec front and the stock wheels. Still saving up money for the build and then comes the feed kit but don't know what wheels yet

NA NA NA NA NA NA NA NA...BATMAN!!! Seriously though, it looks really good! I like satin on cars, just gives it a little different variation then always being bright and glossy.

Love the color, but I feel a more aggressive FD can pull it off better opposed to a stock one. Just my .02.
