final fitment question...component speakers
is there a difference in mounting depth for the new pro60 bostons and the old 6.5 pros? Also, anyone have an opinion on the phoenix gold component speakers? i know you can make some speakers fit so they wont hit the glass but then the dont let the door panel seal completely....i would like to get the old pro 6.5 since they are cheaper...but the phoenix gold have a 2.2" mouting which I am sure will work....
thanks for your help!

k.. i assume your talkin fc.. also i just spent 1/2 hour lookin up the same stuff... minus the boston questions, and had about 10 hit in the search
ive yah a hint
"door speakers"
now for the phenix gold speakers, my take is that any high end are gonna sound the same in our cars just for the fact that it has a shitty response to quality reproduction. id go with what you like or the least expensive 'good' components you can find.
i decided on a brand new pair of type-s for now.. like i said though... unless big money is spent.. you prolly wont notice much difference imo.
good luck
