Since my car got hit and run i was gonna plan to just get the whole painted Black by macco or something like that.

I could do the paint job very soon. But I want to get TII skirts and Lip. I was wondering if Black Fiberglass looked that much differnt from the normal Black paint. I've seen black Fcs with fiberglass lips and I couldn't tell the difference in the color really.

But I was wondeirng what everyone else though about it.

 

Black gelcoat doesn't really look anything like real black paint but if you're going to have Maaco shoot the car, all bets are off.

Black is the most difficult color to pull off- every flaw and imperfection jumps out.
If you want a black car and have no budget for a decent paintjob, you're better off painting it yourself with flat black rattlecans than letting the hacks at Maaco slather paint on the car.
