Few quick stereo questions?

I ordered a new Alpine cda-9827 deck for my 93 FD, which currently has the premium bose setup.I just took out both the radio and cd part, and my deck arrives tomorrow. Before it arrives I would like to pick up what else I need from radio shack. When I searched I was inclusive on which wiring harness to use. Would it be fine to use the ones that are $5 or $6 or do I really need that $50 one from crutchfield? I also assume I need crimpets also right? If their is any detailed instructions or anything else concerning this, please point me in that direction I searched and really did not find what I was looking for. Thank you.

I would use a Metra harness for ease of installation. I don't know if that is the brand Crutchfield is selling, but any local stereo shop should have them. Then just match the colors and your go to go.

You may have to do an amp bypass if you have a bose system. Almost all of the premium sound systems require an amp bypass in order to work with aftermarket decks, but i'm not sure about the FD.
