FD3S Rear Seats Anyone?
Hey Guys, I just got myself a 94 RX-7 and I love the car, but two seats just kinda sucks sometimes. I know I've seen rear seats for these things sold, and I realize they would be a joke, but my friends are little people, and in college you cram into anything you can. If anyone knows where the hell I could find some it would be great. Thanks

Don't bother, no normal size human can fit into them. Kids have trouble getting into them. You didn't buy an FD for practicality, don't try to make it practical.

Another guy with a factory 4 seater used to put his 2 year old in the back seat with her teddy bear on the other. The funny thing was the little girls feet would be squashed against the front seat.
So jeff, I can only assume your friends are stuffed toys or we're talking about animal friends here.
Back seats, however, are MUCH more practical for storage than the bins. But they weigh a heap (about 20-25kg from memory) when you add up the all the clips, inertia reels, brackets etc etc.

Well the front seats have to be scooted up, the driver is cramped, normal size people CAN fit. No it is not comfortable, not a 4-door car, not even close. It CAN be done. The seats aren't that heavy either. 1kg=2.2lb? I don't think the rear seats weigh 44-55lbs, I installed mine. The bins actually weigh more than you'd think.
To everyone else telling me what they think when they haven't seen crap, opinions are like a$$holes, everyone has one.

Interesting you say the bins are heavy too, I would never have guessed.
I sincerely hope my dislike of the rear seats didnt offend you - that was not my intention. It more or less just came down to asthetics for me.
