fd3s Center Speaker

Alright, So I pop off the speaker cover to find a horrible condition speaker, I toughed it and the black topping fell off, no wonder it doesn't make any sound! Anyways fiddled with the stupid clip for about an hour, and it will not come apart. Feeling rather embarrassed to ask "how does this connector come undone!?" I have been able to pry 1 part up, but that looks like how you would remove the wires and not undo the connector. Any advice? Pry? Push etc

I tried to take mine out today. Couldn't get it. So I just cut the wires haha

But really, I squeezed the connector with pliers, and I still couldn't get it

cut the wires on the speaker side of the connector and toss the speaker in the garbage.

+1

I doubt most peoples center speakers work anyways. Mine literally fell apart before I even touched it, probably from how hot the dash can get during summer days
