FD stereo center amp wiring

Hello all,
I am trying to figure out why the center speaker doesn't work. I notice that i have 2 wires in the fsm diagram that go from the head unit to the center amp... A Grey wire and a light green/black.. Can anyone tell me if they are supposed to carry power? are thet signal wires for something? I can't tell from the wiring diagram.

Or, do you loose the center speaker when someone hardwires in a sony harness? I have 2 unused wires still on the sony harness still. i have to check to see if they carry power or not.

Anyways , just looking to see if anyone else had run into this with aftermarket head units.

here is the diagram. wires in question are circled in red.

thanks, Dave

All aftermarket head units have 4-channel amplification. Therefore, once you switch from the stock deck, you lose your center channel. Acoustically, you shouldn't notice a huge difference without it, but if you still have stock speakers, you won't get the best possible sound from your Sony deck, which most likely has 3x as much power as the stock deck.

If your center channel speaker isn't blown yet (90% are), the only way to still use it would be with a deck hooked to a 5-channel multimedia digital signal processor (DSP). However, unless you have a video system in your FD, that is highly unnecessary. I would recommend removing the center channel speaker, as it is a great gauge placement location via a center channel dual gauge pod.
