Has anyone shaven the keylocks and/or the hanldes on an FD? I was asking because I was considering just shaving the keylocks and putting in a remote keylock in my car. I could put an emergency release in the trunk where the lug wrench is since the rear latch would retain a key lock. Shaving the keylocks seems as though it would be a walk in park compared to other cars because of the detached plate for the lock and handle.

Maybe someone has some pictures / tips?
