Turn on the radio and bring up the vol. Grab a voltmeter and attach to the wires. When you get a positive voltage, where ever your neg. lead is connected to, that's your ground.

Im in the process of doing this also Im just doing a little at a time(im lazy).. My results where that the wires where both ground. I know this soulds stupid, I couldnt understand this. Maybe I didnt do somehthing right. The speakers work though. Doesnt a test light only pick up ground??

Well, a test light would show you which is the lead...and I guess then you'd know the ground too. Though, I don't know how much voltage that light would need to actually light up. From a stock head, I'd imagine that you'd have to crank up the vol a bit to get anything. Then again, maybe not.
