Need a new hood...Front fender and hood were damaged in accident. Cost of fixing car is coming out of my pocket. OEM stock(aluminum) hood from Mazda is like 980.00.
Anyone know any companies that produce a Replica OEM hood in fiberglass. Could use the help or some useful info.

I would buy a used OEM hood here on the forum. You can't beat OEM quality. If you decide to get an aftermarket hood go with a name brand. Not something on ebay that will have bad fitment or take a lot of work to get it to look right.

 

did you check Malloy Mazda?

I wouldn't go aftermarket OEM style hood. You are looking at $600+, and they aren't lighter either. Might as well stick to true OEM that way you ARe assured that the quality is there.

I bought a seibon scoot style hood, which has great fitment but it's not as good as OEM.

 

Ray quoted me somewhere around $700 for an OEM about a month or so ago...not bad at all for brand new. Luckily I ended up finding one on Ebay off a JDM clip with clean insulation underneath and nice japanese stickers. It came out to be $320 shipped

Check the forums here and Ebay occasionally, it'll eventually pop up...

 

you could get a oem carbon one from seibon and paint it...
