Nagisa Auto in Japan produces both styles of taillights that shmacklepap and Monkman33 posted pics of. The down side is that you have to supply a core (aka shipping your lights to Japan) and then paying a bit over a grand to do the conversion, and finally ship it back to you from Japan.

Progressive lights are illegal over here...Not sure about in the US though.
I'm working on a LED set for my rex during bored moments...Should be done soon...Will post up pics of the results.
