FD inexpensive front bumper

I can't seem to find the store that sells a front bumper for FDs for 189 dollars. Does anyone remember this page?

you can get bumper for 150, but the shipping is going to mess you up. All these companies want like 150 or so for the shipping. You can check ebay though.

ebay absolutely sucks when it comes to selling these types of products. They largely profit on shipping on the most part for an already profitable good. Ebay should make it illegal to do this.

Yeah, same question. I want a GTC bumper but I don't want to spend 600 bucks for one and find out it is the same quality as a 300 dollar one.

The kits at www.racerwheel.com are VIS kits. So they should be good quality. I just ordered the GTC replica front and sides from them. $550 shipped for both. They should be at the house next week, so I'll let you know the quality when I open em up.

Saw one on ebay for $450-$500 including the 99 spec combo lights. I think the company selling it is procarparts.com. Not sure of the fitment and quality though.

jmo87: Post up your impression of the kit for sure. That is exactly what I want but can't and don't want to spend more in body work to make it fit than the kit actually costs.

I bought an invader kit from vis...well that was a long time ago..the fitment was o.k...the only problem was there was no holes to connect the front nose to the fenders and also to the front bar..

VIS sells a copy of the cwest front for 150, but I was also quoted 150 for shipping from CA to FL. Still 300 isnt bad as long as the fitment is ok. A friend of mine with an eclipse bought a kit from them and the fitment was good. I am unsure of how well the rx7 kits fit though. Can anyone comment on the fitment of the VIS kit?

True, I have got that same response from Racing Trenz here in Denver. I am putting Corbeau Forzas in, they gave me crap because it is an "FD" and deserves better seats. I am not going to spend $2000 on a pair of seats. That almost pays for a V-mount, or M2 twins. Better things to spend money on then seats and bumpers. Especially if the cheaper stuff works and looks just as good. Just doesn't have the name on the seats that sounds expensive.

What would it take? An RX7 to roll up in a show and have every1 saying damn!!!! that kits looks good..then to find out it's a cheap version to give props to the manufacturer..

MY RX7 WOULD MAKE ANY KNOCKOFF LOOK SWEET!!!!!
just my opinion
The remainder of the money saved I can buy a GT 40 turbo kit...hahahahahah

hey guys... yeah it came in. Sorry I havent posted about it yet. I went home to put everything on but ran short of time before i had to come back to school. BUT, the sideskirts came with a couple cracks in each of them. On the same sections on both, I guess its just a weak part of the design, kinda thin. But that is being worked out as we speak. The bumper on the other hand is extremely thick. The only fitment issues I am having are around the curve of the fenders. The lines meet up nicely at the headlight and on the horizontal part where the fender and bumper meet, but in between on the curve the bumper sticks out a little more than an 1/8" on both sides. Im tryin to figure out if I can sand it down a little or what. But I am actually heading back to Allen this morning to work on it. And I am going to take it by the body shop and see what can be done to make it sit a little more flush around those curves. I'll try to take a few pics of what I am talking about this afternoon in case you dont understand anything I just said
