FD - how to remove rear speakers

Do you have to remove the comlete rear quarter panels or can I just pull off the covers ? I dont want to break anything, as I need to see why my driver side speaker isnt working.

Thanks!

Just for future reference, you can just remove the speaker covers without taking out the interior covers. Just pry out carefully from the top using plastic pry. Then you can unscrew the speakers. A 1 minute job...on my 94 non-bose
