I'm in the process of redoing the interior of the 93 R1/touring I got recently (putting a LS6 in it ), and I've been fixing all broken pieces. The last thing I'm down to is the driver glove box. The only piece broken on it is where the metal post of the lid goes into the box itself by the spring.

I am going to build the broken edge back up with JB weld and fiberglass, but was unsure as exactly how to do it--if I just put the hole there, it doesn't seem I'll be able to get the lid back in. How was it done originally? Does anyone happen to have a picture of that corner of the glove box?
