FD a/c panel mod

FD a/c panel mod

Is there any guides that can show me how to mod my a/c panel to fit a double din dvd receiver? Or is there any one out there who can do this for me?






This is what i'm shootin for, except mines a 93 panel>

just cut the little peice of plastic that goes across in the middle, its really flimsy

yeah, but im pretty sure that the 2 single dins is larger than a 1 double din. So it still needs to be fabricated.

then it would be called a 1 and 3/4 din instad of a double din then wouldnt it ? i think the size of a din is pretty universial for the most part

maybe so, but Im pretty sure the middle bar makes it too large for a D din

Well, isn't the protege/spirit r- radio a double din? And it fits perfectly without change, so if it is, then you cut that middle bar out like he said, then it should fit.

Measure it, the distance from top to bottom and whanot, and then go to crutchfield.com and start seaching or sending them emails asking for any measurements if they don't already have them posted. Remember to check the depth of the player as well (front to back) incase something behind it is going to prevent it from sliding all the way back where it needs to be.
