FD Bose tape deck -- can't disconnect back right corner cable?
I can't disconnect the last cable on the back right corner of the tape deck of my 93 w/ Bose tape/cd. I got the CD player out and have all the plugs out of the tape deck except for one (without a plug) on the back right corner. I don't feel anything to pull, twist, unscrew, or otherwise wiggle out. I can barely see (I think) two tiny, twisted wires within the cable that go into the deck, if that helps with identifying the one I can't disconnect. How do I get that one off?

It was hard to get a good angle, but on the middle top of the picture, it's the black cable...definitely not the very thick cable on the top right of the picture:

Don't mind the torn up deck...I got frustrated and figured I could just pry apart the front from the back to get more room to see how the cable was held on. Since the bottom seems to be one piece, that didn't work. I don't care about the deck condition, I just want it out with the cables intact to wire up a new deck.
EDIT: this wasn't my "I fixed it response"...I still can't disconnect that cable.

I think I know what your problem is.
Ok, so this is the back of your tape deck...
See those two male plugs?
There is a small planel there with a pushpin. Pull it out and reach up just a little under the bracket. Your going to find these.
Thats what the plug from your tape deck is attached to. Just pull it from there and the tape deck should slide right out.
Add me on facebook when you have a sec... look up marc_ferrari AT mindcrash.net
I'm going through some bracket issues right now trying to get the new deck in.

Awesome, thanks! My car is back in San Antonio since I've moved to Austin, and I can't really drive it until I put the dash all back together and fix my odometer to get inspection done. Just got my cast off, so I'll give it another shot sometime this week. I friended you on facebook...Jon Baumgardner. I'll let you know where I am with mounting my deck.
