FD Bose System- Bypassing Amps- Straight from Head Unit to Bose Speakers??

Quick question-

The previous owner of my car hacked all the wiring so it will be extremely difficult to get the stock amps working again.

Will the Bose speakers function correctly if I ran brand new wires directly from the deck to the speakers?

Has anyone done this? I would also like to retain the bose tube in the back hatch. Has anyone taken it apart and run wires directly to the speaker bypassing the amps?

Thanks for the help,

Brando

I rewired my whole car with new speakers. With stock bose speakers, it might work, but they are meant to have the specific amps with them. The best thing to do is to rewire and get aftermarket speakers.

I have ran the bose speakers off a head unit and an aftermarket amp. They work both ways but sound a TON better with a amplifier.
