Resurrected for more pics :)

A few more in-progress pics.

I went overboard and just hacked off the part of the circuit board for the clock. Opens up some extra room.

Dremel took care of all the excess plastic. I cut in to the side a bit to give the wire some relief space.

I bored out the existing hole just big enough to thread the button directly into the front piece.

Mostly reassembled with some sharpie to cover up the now-irrelevant markings.

Cover back on for a quick bench test.

Looks great!
After the install, people always asked me what was wrong with my clock...
They were like, "it jumps all over the place... in...military... time....."
haha

Nice, another converted clock. The little gauge fits surprisingly well inside the warning light cluster. And the "push to reset" text isn't irrelevant; you do push the button to recalibrate the controller. The hour and minute part...not so much.

Clock Wires to AFR display question..

Hey is this stickied? Great write-up! I did this on an 88 TII S4 with the Innovate Autotimer to use as a afr gauge, it has a clock too! Its slightly larger than the lc-1 display, you dremel out the same areas, but i had to remove a bottom portion of the white plastic piece (actually it broke trying to ease it in, but i worked in my favor lol). Everything snaps back together and its a clean fit! I read in another thread Satch had mentioned cutting/removing and taping the wires to the clock on the plug to the warning light/clock assembly so they don't short or ground anything. Here are the diagrams for the display and the stock circuit diagram from the FSM (body electrical). The clock stuff is circled. The display unit comes with a relay (Don't flame me for the Bosch 4.2 vs. 4.9 stuff yea yea..) Anyway my question is instead of taping off the wires to the plug, can i use them for my 12v, ign on, and acc on the relay? Red wire going to B (o), Blue wire to Cluster Switch (p)(does this mean ign on?), and Green Wire to ACC (r)? Thanks!
