FC Head Unit Cage

FC Head Unit Cage

Just a quick question.

When i bought my FC it had a dodgy single din headunit install. Im putting in a Single din pocket to cover up the hole left from being a double din. I was wondering if there is ment to be a cage where the headunit gets bolted to so it can be secure. Ive got nothing in it so the headunit is just sitting in there loosely.

Dave,

There is a metal OEM cage, where the factory radio bolts on to, you can mount virtually any type of radio to that oem cage. If you don't have it, you can try an aftermarket mounting kit:
