I would really think about buying from Extreme Dimensions. There fitments really suck (personal experience) and the price for the Carbon Fiber Fenders are lol crazy (even with a group buy).

The best thing about there fenders is that they are not even carbon fiber. They are carbo fiber weave layered over fiberglass and clear coated with about 3 layers.
I am quoting this from them: post #7:

I'm not worried about fitment...As long as its pretty close my friends and I at the body shop will make it work. I pm'ed stephanie and there is some excess material that would have to be cut off but its really no big deal. I've dealt with fitment problems on some other body kits before and made them work. About the CF over fiberglass....thats just like my hood. It won't matter to me as long as the quality is thier.

I would have to agree with gasnrx-7.
Although they are sponsors the kits I've seen from them have been bad. Cracks, broken pieces, parts that seem to have been pulled off the mold before being fully cured.

Hi, I will look into that and ask them about it. I will have them put more pics of the actual parts, not the pics they already have on their car. That will sort of show more detail and also show what the extra material consists of. This way it will everone an idea of what they are getting.

This is an exterior topic, please keep the discussion here (i.e. the thread in the 3rd Gen section was removed to use this one).

Also, PM "Jason" about permission for group buys here on the forum.

Although this is a good idea it still doesn't mean that the next kit produced won't be crap.... My experience with this company is it's a crap shoot. One time you may get a good part... the next will be horrible.

Carbon Creations

Carbon Creations i am interested in the set of the fenders you have for a gift for a friend. You said that these are fiberglass parts with a carbon fiber over lay. So they are not nearly as strong or as high of quality as 100% carbon fiber? and i guess thats why there is only a 5lbs difference (id that) between stock and aftermarket?? I figure if im going to pay any where close to $700 i want it to be authentic and 100% For example a 100% carbon fiber door from japan for an R33 is $950.. thing is it saves you half the weight of stock since it is 100% and you dont have to worry about fiberglass cracking under the carbon fiber????
