I am currently looking for some euro/clear taillights to put on my 95 rx7 and was wondering if anyone could help me out by pointing me to a place to get them from. Thanx a lot.

 

OMG, you have a '95 and you want to ruin it already??? Get some 99 spec tailights or make your own, nothing looks better on an FD.. see the avatar.

think about it, do you honestly think that clear taillights would look good on an FD. If you are looking for something different than stock get the 99 circle taillights or convert them yourself.

Define rice for me please, i seem to not understand. Adding one thing to a car makes it rice? so if I dont like the Feed style front bumper, and you have it, can i say your cars rice? What about the Supra style spoiler? some people call it rice, some people like it. You guys are getting way out of hand on the whole rice ****. Let it slide

 

To rice a car means to add modifications to it which are pointless and do nothing to enhance the performance of the engine. Or people simply do it because it is "cool" or such. If you look into the world of honda's that street, 9/10 has clear tail lights or the same Nos stickers or the same bodykit. Having a car isnt always about originality but if your going to modify a car, do it to your liking, and not to others.

Kiflin, your going to call me putting euro's on my 7 rice, when you said to rice a car was to do stuff to it that is pointless, but then turn around and said to modify your car to your own liking and NOT to others.

Euro's are just for looks, nothing more. I am going for both looks and performance out of my 7. Right now I am working on the looks part though.

 

True it is his car, he can do what he wants, all we can do is give him our opinions. Should he be harassed? No. Do you have the right to share your opinion of something posted publicly? Yes. But I think now he knows how most people feel about euro tails in a FD.


As for my opinion, I think it'll look uglier than sin. FD's are already unique with their "tinted" tail-lights, putting clear tails or even altezzas will only make it have tail lights that look like every other car. I think the whole idea of worrying about $$ taillights(I can see a $5.00 DIY 99 spec conversion) with a car as troublesome and as much of a empty hole to throw money in is crazy as well. But that's just my opinion.

BTW, there are no euro/altezza tails made for a FD at the moment so they'll have to be custom made. Which will cost $$ as I doubt there is much market for such a product.

Oh, to answer the original question, no, you can't get euro/clear tailights for your RX-7. No one has bothered to make them, since, as you can see, RX-7 owners tend not to like them. So, they don't exist. Sorry. I would just buy Ron's, thats the closest you're gonna come to getting Euros if thats what you want. Or fab your own if you're into that.

bah, being a honda owner and a member on a few honda boards, i can tell you that majority of the people on these board hate altezzas just as much as you guys, simply for this reason getting steryotyped into being rice. ill have to find the thread where a memeber bought a pair of them and literally set them on fire to prove how much he hated them. for the record, i completly agree tho, i wouldnt put them on an RX-7, its like defacing a national monument or something. but thats my opinion. if you think they look good, go for it, but dont expect us to tell you they look good.
