I VERY carefully just pulled mine off with my fingernails(what ones i had anyways), but it would probably be alot easier if you tried to work fishing line or floss under it. Putting it on is probably impossible to mess up....

If you're careful with the heat:

You can use a heat gun to warm the doublestick tape on the back of the emblems so it makes it easier to come off.

Sometimes emblems will come off easily with some finger prying action. However most of the times they don't and then you can either use a putty knife (careful not to scratch your paint) to slowly pry the emblems off or you can use some kevlar dental floss or some fishing wire and slice the emblems away from the double stick tape.

You can do without the heatgun with the floss/wire method if you're patient enough.

Then you can go to Home Depot and buy the higher grade 3M doublestick tape (the grey stuff) and razor blade it to fit on the emblems and that should be about it.

3m also sells some emblem adhesive, comes in a red box. That stuff works wonders, my emblems have been on their for more than a year without any problems at all.
