The driver's door has always been harder to shut than the passenger door on my '93 RX-7 Touring Model. Also has a "tinny" sound compared to the passenger door. Tried to seach to see if this is typical or if there is a simple fix. Thanks for the help. Mick

 

My 93 touring has the same problem

 

The TINNY sound is STD for most 93's, the latch hook on the door jamb may need to be adjusted. if its in too far it will make it hard to get the door to latch closed.

I have heard that smearing some seam sealer into the gap between the crash beam and the inside of the door skin and/or adding a piece of DynaMat will will cure the TINNY sound.
