Drift Dialects wing
Has anyone had one of these or is anyone currently using one?
Chassis Mount GT Wing RX7 FD3S(FD) Kit ? Drift Dialects
I've been looking at doing a chassis mount wing and I'd like it to be similar to this one. I honestly don't really care for wings, I like the sleek look with nothing on the back. But I plan to do a splitter and I'll need the wing to balance it out. I don't want it as tall as this wing, but I do like that I can remove it and the brackets don't stick out too far from the bumper so it's not too noticeable. I think I'd also like the stands to be a little further apart although in some of these pics they look like they're further apart than in other pics. I was hoping to use the stock structure so I can still use the foam to support the bumper cover, but I'm not sure if it's sturdy enough to support the downforce. This kit uses a sturdy bar but it doesn't look like you can use the foam. Another local FD owner is planning on making a wing like this and using bash bar to support the bumper cover.
The price on this kit is pretty good, but it makes me curious about quality and how effective it actually is.
As for the splitter, I've been looking at using Dibond and also thinking about making a diffuser out of it.
